I'm sorry to sound pessimistic here, but just because you believe it, does not necessarily mean that you will ever see it.
Also, we merely see what we believe we see. Just because we believe what we see, it's still just a belief.
You either believe it is or you believe it isn't, whether you have seen it or not, you have a belief. Seeing is merely relative to your personal belief, no matter which comes first.

Neither. "I think, therefore I am." is a belief, not a fact. We know nothing and believe everything.
Spiritually, some believe in something and that belief has not been made manifest for them to see. There are others that believe in something so strongly that they manifest it into being but it is only the effects of what they believed in that they can see, for love itself is invisible but the effects are visible.
Psychologically, some see things and yet they cannot believe it because the mind perceives only that which it already believes to be so. A single incident seen by 4 people will be viewed 4 different ways based upon those individuals beliefs of what happened. All may be right, and yet all could be wrong.
It is better to not believe in anything and to question what you think you know.

See it to believe it.
I am an insecure person, so till I see it clearly, i find it difficult to believe it. Even if it is something that I have done by myself, I may not be able to believe it till I see it being there. I am cautious, if I can put it politely, or I am just over cautious if you want to put it in another way.. I don't mind.
Lots of people believe it to see things they like I think, for good or bad. Or lots of people believe in it that is why they can see. I do try that sometimes, but it doesn't seem to work.
Sometimes though, I wish I could do that, so I can get a strong belief in something, and may be able to snap out of this insecurity.

The Quran says that Allah sends CLEAR SIGNS and the
people say it's obviously sorcery.
They accused Jesus of being in league with the Devil.
Seeing is not believing, because they will just ignore it, or try
explain it way.
CASE IN POINT!
Everybody is getting a SIGN from Spirit right now. They want
us to know they are there and watching over us.
It's usually when you have your keys. And you know you had
them, but you look all over the house ten times and can't find
them. And suddenly, there they are. IN PLAIN SIGHT!
IGNORE, EXPLAIN IT AWAY!

Believe it to see it.
Because there are plenty of things we don't see but certainly exist. like microwaves (not the ones for cooking food in) and sound waves are there, they are real, but we cannot see them. because we can't see things doesn't mean they simply don't exist.
People rely on science way too much to prove things instead of being open minded about them.
Expect the unexpected...

I don't necessarily need to see something to believe it. But it must pass the plausibility test. Did man land on the moon? I wasn't there, but it is plausible. Did Jesus rise from the dead? I didn't see it, but it is implausible.

Believe it to see it.
I like surprises - specifically the God-kind of surprises. He always hears me and, in due time, He brings to pass what I've believed for, but He's never ever one time ever done it the way I would have expected Him to, and it's always, always, always been more glorious than I could have thought to expect.

In as much as I was not around to see how everything came into being (and neither were you),I say, "I don't know ..... YET!" To assume that some god, my less than intellectual ancestors made up, instantaneously farted the universe into being, is absurd

believe it to see it
there are things that we cannot see, things that have a vibrational rate outside of our normal 5 senses. to see them, is to first belive in them and then to train oneself to experience them thorugh meditation or spiritual practice.
of course, to believe first without seeing is a matter of faith, some would say

Miss Tickle:
Microwaves and soundwaves are scientifically measurable
Is God or soul scientifically measurable?
you talk as if microwaves and soundwaves are supernatural
I can't believe that believers use such weak analogies
