Yes. God isn't as picky as certain churches are.

As long as a priest does it he will require that you & your betrothed attend spiritual training classes or he will not do it. Even if you don't get married by a priest (no matter where) once you get married to the person you attend the spiritual marriage classes with you will be considered married in the eyes of the church. It's the classes that determine whether or not the catholic church will accept your marriage.

Well the religious aspects of a marriage by a priest or minister is only "legal" in the eyes of god, regardless of where you have the physical ceramony. The actual; legal part of the service is that of a civil union document which a priest or minister signs as the person who officiated the ceramony and that document gets filed with your local city, county or state.
So yes, regardless of where your priest marries you, it is valid in the eyes of god.

Depending on what kind of priest you are talking about, I think if it is RC or Orthodox, you must be married IN the church. Give the pastor a call, he'll be glad to answer your question.

No you dont need a preist or a church to get married. I'm a Christian..You can get a justice of the peace and get married in your house, apartment, your backyard, frontyard, basement, as long as you put God first and that God is in your heart..Thats all that matters..

Based on my conversations with God you need not a building or clergy to be covenanted (married) in the eyes of God.

there is nothing wrong with that. God is everywhere, not confined to a building. a church is just a gathering place for worship, fellowship, and learning.

I would think since it's a ceremony "binding two together for life under god's watchful eyes" then it would be OK.
But my ceremony didn't involve religon in any way so I wouldn't know.
