No. The concept of reincarnation is primarily a Hindu concept, and is inconsistent with the resurrection. As it is written: "Indeed, just as people are appointed to die once and after that to be judged..." (Hebrews 9:27)

And karma is another Hindu concept. But as Hebrews 9:27 says, another passage is similar: "For all of us must appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what he deserves for what he has done in his body, whether good or worthless." We get judged once. For the believer, it is about what we have done with our salvation. For the unbeliever, it is how well they kept the Ten Commandments.

As to the big bang theory, it is better to look at Genesis and the creation account. While some can believe the two are compatible, they really aren't. As a believer, you can ask God to show you how His account of creation is reliable, and He is faithful and will show you.

No, if you believe that you're not really a true Christian. Nowhere in the Bible does it mention reincarnation or karma. Once we're dead we go to heaven if we accept Jesus as our savior. Also God created the universe not some big explosion. I think you might need to learn more about Christianity. You seem a little uncertain what true Christians believe. One of the best resources for that is of course the Bible.

Why would a Christian want to believe in reincarnation? Jesus, Lord of heaven and earth is a much better goal to reach for. I'm personally grateful I don't have to do this wretched, earthbound life but once.

And why would a Christian want to believe in the big bang hypothesis? Why wouldn't a Christian just be thankful and enjoy the beauty of God's creation?

It's possible to BELIEVE in anything you want to! & if you like it, go for it. Isn't that what it's all about? BELIEVING in something impossible to prove? Some day the big bang theory will be as old hat as the earth was once believed to be flat.

It may be possible but it would not conform to the Bible.

Reincarnation is the belief that when one dies, they return as someone or something else. God declares:

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

One becomes a Christian by trusting Jesus Christ for salvation, not by getting a PhD in religion and knowing everything there is to know. This can occur even if they do not know anything other then who Christ is and what HE did for us.

Karma is simply action. The Big Bang theory is God clapping His giant hands. And Reincarnation is a metaphor for being born again. There!

Karma and big bang yes. Who says God didn't have something to do with big bang? Karma at it's core is basically the same thing the bible says. Reincarnation - NO! There is nothing bibilical about that. Jesus tells us we have one life to live & we go to heaven or hell.

Absolutely.

There are Christians who tell you that to be a Christian you have to follow the party line on all subjects. But, in fact, there is only one requirement - believing in Jesus. After that free-will takes over and you can follow your own head and heart.

That's why the Christian Encyclopedia of World Religions lists 30,000 separate denominations of Christianity in the world.

God gave you a brain - go use it!!!
