Most people get one if they are lucky. It takes a lifetime for it to really become a great love. When we are young we may not think so, but older people looking back count the one person they were with as their great love. Other people who they were really in love with for a short time, just become youthful crushes in their memory.

You can have as many great loves in your life as you are willing to pursue. Great love is one of the joys that makes life worth living! However, pursuing great love takes great effort and most people are not willing to put forth the effort more than once or twice.
That's why so many get married young, because they want to believe that they've found "the One" and they don't have to invest the effort in the search any more. If they've found "the One" and they're destined to be together, then what's the hurry?
Pursuing great love means accepting the risk of rejection, heartbreak and depression. Everyone is hurt at least once in their life by love and many choose to unconsciously avoid opportunities for great love thereafter, because its too risky. If you want a life rich in love, you must embrace the risk. Don't just accept it, embrace it. It's part of what makes great love so appealing: the element of danger. Throw caution to the wind, never settle for less than you deserve, and don't let fear make your decisions for you. As long as you have it within you to do this, you can look forward to great love in your life.

two, your first 'great' love that you have is your highschool/ college sweetheart then the mature love that you find later in life. Sometimes that can even be the same person. You fall in love when your younger then grow up together and then fall in love with eachother all over again later on.

No way to tell, some people only get one...others claim to have had and lost many...Hmmm, maybe that means they were always searching for what they already had but didn't respect what they had until it was lost...Don't squander your chances folks, each one could be your last, and there may not be another one in the cards for you.
