No, it just gives you more stress & anxioty cuz U can't fall asleep. A hot bath, shower, lavender scented something, boring book, boring music, massage, stare at a picture ya love and fantasize about it-like a dream spot. U can also dream up stories like winning a lottery, what would ya do with the $? Dream about sexual fantasy-it works!

Sometimes it's best to just close your eyes and lay there. Take a hot shower before you lay down. This is so your body can relax. Then lay down and clear your mind or only think of pleasant thoughs. Before you know, you will be sleep.

I have the same problem sometimes...i'll be at home for an hour or two before bed and be really tired on the couch, as soon as i climb into bed i'm wide awake! I hate it. I don't know if it's cause i'm so active at the gym, but you'd think it would make me even more tired working out and all. maybe consult your doctor about lunesta or other sleeping pills?

u can try to listen to some peaceful music, that helped me when i was like very little and im still doing it. some people like to see the tv while sleeping so i would try some of those and if they don't help u may want to take some sleeping pills or just lay there and close your eyes.

Try and unwind from your day before laying down and don't have the tv on while trying to fall asleep. That always makes it worse for me.
