People have a hard enough time trying to get to the moon, and don't always even make that (re:, Apollo 13). You won't have to worry about going to other planets in your lifetime, anyway :)

The "new earth" spoken of in the Bible is this planet, but when it will be ruled by God's kingdom instead of human governments. He is the only one who can solve the problems here, and He has promised to do just that.

think the new earth referred to is this planet in a different time or dimension than the one we are on at the present time like others have already stated.
