What is ur age, u have not mentioned? Cervical spondylitis is usually affects elderly people. It just like joint arthritis, only differance is here it affect cervical spine.Outgrowths from edges of bone along with swollen joints of spine, compress the nerve root which causes severe pain in upper limbs perticulerly while making movement. Exact cause of this disorder is not yet known. Disease runs course of onset, disappearance and again exacerbation after some days. Ther is no definative treatment availabale for its cure, In allopathy we use to treat it symptomatically by rest to neck and strong analgesic drugs. Hot warer massage is also soothing, once pain & inflamation gets relieved take measures to avoid its recurrence by using soft pillow under ur neck when ur sleeping on one side of ur body, avoid making jerky movements of neck.
In sever cases cervical brace or surgery is last alternative. Some homeopathic doctors claims excellent results with there treatment so try them as well if possible.
