I'm a girl, and I have to get an apartment for school next year because we're only allowed in res for the first year. I would MUCH rather room with guys because I think girls can be bitchy and controlling, and so I would put in an ad that I was looking for male flatmates. But her sexual orientation shouldn't really matter when looking for potential flatmates unless she's looking for someone to bone her. I say, go for it.

I am in a similar situation as your flatmate, and I too would rather share with a bloke - but I don't think I am gagging for it!! Having lived with many people over the years, and despite having lots of female friends, I have come to the conclusion that women are bitches to live with!!! It could be as simple as that, don't mean to rain on your parade, but perhaps you need to figure out if she is actually giving out any of the right signals first? If you are both getting on well it could ruin it all if you are wrong! Who is it that is gagging for it, she - or you?!?!?

No but you obviously are. Not a good idea. It messes up the status quo and you could be looking for a new place to live sooner than you think. Imagine starting something and then it not working out. Awkward and nasty. If she hits on you then you could be in trouble. Keep it clean and then no-one gets hurt. It changes the balance of relationship and you will feel resentful and so will she. Get out now while you can my man. Lock your bedroom door and say your prayers at night. Get down on your knees and beg your mothers forgiveness you nasty boy. LOL Mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahah!

nah i think it is completely innocent, she probably just specified she was lookin for a male flat mate, for comfort and peace of mind, also she could hva said she hetero, so she doesnt get fella's that think she is a gay and we all no it floats lads boats!!
you could suss her out a bit more, but if i were you i wouldnt make a move on her cos it would make living together very difficult if in fact what i said above was correct.

gagging for it.i love this phrase. shes gagging for it. go for it my son.
slip her some pink magic. it could be beautiful. however on the downside it might not be good for house relations.
a man has two brains one in his head and one in his **** and only enough blood to operate one at a time. if you know what i'm saying.
if it gets bad i.e glenn close in fatal attraction you can always move out. happy dipping

feel it out....most females get along on general better with males. while two males can be roommates and do fine. females tend to have more nitpicks and issues when pared up......if she is in it for some action and you want it. she will make a go at it...and just go with the flow

Only you would know if she was {gagging} for it, being her flat mate?.
If shes not and you make your advances and you are wrong, then start looking for a new flat mate.

She might as well have put in the ad - Looking for male to have own room but shag me senseless when I feel like it.
Burst into her room tonight and give her what she's waiting for!!
Let us know how you get on!!!
