wash your hair, and while it's still wet, apply mousse to it. then, if you can, or know someone who can, french braid your hair into 2 or more braids. let it dry like over night (blow dry it to speed it up, without taking the braids down). then, once it's dry, take the braids down and you should beautiful wavy hair!

It seems that if we have straight hair, we want curly. If we have curly, we want it straight. Growing up in the seventies, we did everything we could to straighten our hair, even if it meant using the iron! Today, I am presenting you with an easier way to straighten your curls.
Wash and condition hair.
Blot dry. Hair should be almost dry when you begin.
Gather up hair into several sections and secure or clip hair on top of your head. You will be drying the bottom layers first.
Follow the brush (with your dryer) down the sections of hair as you straighten each section and be sure to keep the dryer moving.
Take down a new section of hair and proceed as directed above.
Work your way up the layers until all sections are dry and straightened.
To curl the ends for a polished look, take your brush and pull the ends under. Finish your styling with a blast of cool air if your hairdryer has this capability.

Best way to get wavy hair is to go to a salon and get a good old shampoo and roller set,
Alot of salons are now carrying our roller sets on younger women and will gladly show you how to roller set your hair to create the wavy hair that you desire
If you get a perm you will find that there will be days that you wish that you had straight hair and this is the reason that i also roller set my hair, to suit whatever mood Iam in

here are some suggestions, i havent tried some of them, but i ve heard that they work-
curl with iron or rollers
put some hairspray in ur hair before going to bed and the tossing and moving will create random waves
braid ur hair and when u remove it there will be waves
put some defining product in ur hair and keep twirling it around ur finger. then, finger comb gently through to separate the waves
use sea salt spray. sea salt will give really pretty beach waves
scruch it with gel
also, you could get a perm if u really want wavy hair
hope that helped!!

I first use an anti frizz product/straightening balm in my hair (Bumble & Bumble makes a good one). Then I blow dry my hair with a large round brush. Then I use the Chi straightener (which is amazing and I have curly ringlets..it straightens it right out). Try that!!

After you wash your hair use leave in conditioner or any moisturizer (spelling) and braid it while wet. After it's dry undo the braids and its wavy. You'll prob have to put something on it to stop frizz though.
