Apparently, your intake of calories is not much worst that the work you do.

So, you need to eat something that is low in calories.
You need do more exercise than what you are doing. Walking burns some but not much. Do you stepper and do some fast pace walking instead of leisure walking. Do you dumbars.

When you eat, drink more water to go wiht the food and eat slowly. That will help you to feel full faster.

Cut down on starchy, oily and fatty food. Eat more fruits and vegetable. Eat some egg white.

Hi there...if you have 3 stone or more to lose then you could try LighterLife, you need to be serious about losing the weight as this is a total meal replacement diet along with counsellor led group support sessions which help you to understand and manage your relationship with food. You will lose approx 1 stone per month at least. Foundation courses last for 100 days and provided you stick to the food packs you will lose at least 3 stone during foundation phase. You can then go onto the management phase where food is reintroduced or continue on with further reduction if you have more to lose.

Before starting any kind of weight loss regime you should seek medical advice - LighterLife will insist on a medical form stamped by your doctor - they are a reputable company and I have never found a diet which will allow you to reduce weight as rapidly with medical endoresement. I lost 3.5 stone in 3 months and never felt better.

It ain't cheap, it's a huge committment and it will make your breath stink!! But if you are serious about losing weight quickly and safely and working with a support group & a trained counsellor to help you, then this could be the answer you're looking for.

I hope this was useful

Good luck!

Freya

Pills are never the answer. If you are taking more then one kind of diet pill you could cause your body alot of harm. It is not good to mix them. The best thing I can say is try using a more natural way of losing your weight. If you lose it the natural way. You tend to keep the weight off. Try the south beach diet and try your best to keep to the diet. You will see it come off. I would bust your days of swimming. Swimming is very good. If they ofter water aerobics that works real well. I love it. It burns more and is not hard on your body. And keep doing your walks.

One thing that has worked for me is I went and got a stair master. I also do my water aerobics three times a week and I swim everyday. While I watch T.V. I do my stair master for 30 min. Here and there. I was sore at first but hot baths and rubbing them helped.. I am on the south beach diet. I have went from 290 to 215 in two mo. time. But It does take work and commitment to lose the weight. My goal is to get to 150 pounds. I hope this helps you. Good luck to you on your weight loss.

First thing- healthy eating is different from dieting. You can put on weight eating or drinking any kind of food. It is the number of calories you take in, and the number you use up, that determine whether or not you loose weight. secondly, if your Dr wants you to loose weight, he or she should be able to advise you on a weight loss programme. the gimmicky ones suggested here are unlikely to provide long term gains. Tablets can make you retain water, but your Dr will be well aware of this, and should be able to advise further- DO NOT stop taking any prescribed medication without your Dr's approval. Finally, good luck with the operation, and your life afterwards.

I don't know what your medical problem is but as you have one I would ask your GP what is the best plan for you. If you follow any of these Fad Diets you could do yourself serious harm.

I found Paul McKenna's advice sound...

Eat what you want but only when you are hungry
Eat slowly ( put your knife and fork down between mouthfuls)
Stop when you are full.

It's knowing when you are hungry and knowing when you are full that is the key... If you think you are hungry try drinking a glass of water and wait for 20 minutes if you still feel hungry eat. eating slowly helps you realise when you are full.
Good luck

You are on a healthy diet, but you might be putting on the calories through juices, fruits etc.. It could also be the medication you are taking.
Although the walks are great, you should increase it to a fast walk and the amount of times you go for a swim. Try aqua arobics, they are great for weight lose.
Good luck with the op next month.

*** Update *** After reading all the pharmacueticals you are ingesting...

Can I suggest you look into Natural therapies to cure your ailments?

I would suggest first doing a liver, kidney and bowl flush - please check this website for the information:

https://www.drclark.com/

** Check out the cleanses and her book "The Cure for All Diseases"

https://www.drclark.com/

Then do some research on your ailments - that require pharmaceuticals - and see if they are listed in alternative therapy books and what they recommend doing.

Really interesting are these water bottles that contain "copies" (frequencies) of many pharmaceutical drugs - without any side effects that the actual pills create!

https://www.drclark.com/forms/bottle_copy_full_listings.pdf

Even if you could cut out half of your pills, I think that would help your body begin to re-regulate itself.

Most traditional doctors do not believe in these things - but, listen, you've tried it their way... why not try something else and just see if it works for you?! You have nothing to loose! (no pun intended). Remember, Doctors need to make money, so they are not so hot on things that don't require there constant attention! Who knows, maybe you'll surprise the doctor!

********************************

The Atkins diet was specifically designed as a short term solution for overweight hospital patients to loose weight before a surgery. That was why Dr. Atkins created it in the first place.

So try that - if it for the same reason.

If you really are trying to just loose weight - not for a surgery, there are no shortcuts - just need to first see your doctor and talk to them about your diet goals, educate yourself about nutrition, start moving (doing excersize) and reform your attitude about yourself - and the weight will come off slowly and but surely - and stay off!

Maybe its because your bones are a type 3. There are REALLY skinny bones, type 1, there are medium, type 2, and there are healthier bones witch is type 3. Don't worry. Still work out when you get the chance lay of the muchies and it may turn out you CAN get the weight you want!
