Ok I'm going to disneyland for my 19th birthday with my boyfriend and my family . And my boyfriend and I have each a kitty , they are both brothers and get along great . We desided to leave them at my house in my room or the bathroom . What can we do to make sure that they will be safe and everything they need . And what are safe toys can they play with that they wont choke on or anything. Should we leave them in my room or my bathroom? And how can we proof safe the both rooms. We're only going for the day and comeing back at midnight . Is it safe to leave them at my house. I think a kennle and the vet will scare them and it's not a good places to leave them . Please help. We really care for our kittens. Thank you.

as long as you kitty proof your room and the two kittens get along well together you should have no problem i wouldnt suggest the bathroom because it doesnt give alot of room for them ...make sure they have plenty of water and make sure it is in something that cannot be knocked over while they are playing because if they knock it over they will be out of water until you get home...they make waterers for cats and dogs that you can fit alot of water in and it drips down as needed...i wouldnt leave more than 2 cups of food they will be fine once all the food is gone until you get home...yes put everything that has cords into the closet until you return and make sure they have a clean litter box and a nice warm place to sleep they will be fine trust me

Kittens are able to stay for a week or more by themselves. As long as you have plenty of water and food out and a kitty litter box, they will be fine. I would let them roam your home. Unless of course you have a problem with them getting at certain things. Don't leave them in the washroom all day. You wouldn't like to be stuck in a washrrom all day, would you? I'm sure they will be fine and content with each others company that they won't need toys. But if you feel like leaving one, how about just a little ball. Or a mouse with catnip in it. You don't need to send them to a kennel at all.

If you're worried about chewing on cords, get some bitter apple or garlicky spray to coat any wires (before the trip test it, don't use it if for some reason the cats love the stuff).
They will be fine in a room. Plenty of water, food, clean litter box, and toys. Just in case they may have separation anxiety, wear an old t-shirt for a few days, and leave that shirt out. Your scent will calm your kitty.

If they are litterbox trained I would just let them run around the house. If you are only going for the day they will be fine. If you are worried about them digging furniture or getting on counters then I would put them in the room where their litterbox is. Also if you do put them in the bathroom make sure there is nothing out that they can get into... they can chew through plastic pretty easily. I would give them their normal toys.... like a cloth mouse or something. Also make sure they have plenty of water for the day & of course a litterbox.

Your room will probably be fine. If you are concerned with food and water get the "automatic" feeders that hold a lot of water and dribble into the bowl as the cats drink some and the food ones drop food as the cat eat what is in the bowl, and a clean potty box. They will be fine... I leave my cat alone for the weekend sometimes (Friday PM to Sun AM or so) and she does fine with the "auto" feeders

I would leave them in a safe room. Preferably a room with a window for them to watch what's going on outside.

Unplug any wires, take away any plants or valuables. Take light bulbs out of lamps, close any doors you don't want them in. If it's just for the day they may sleep quite a bit so you won't need too many toys. Toys, nothing they can rip up and eat. Balls are good. Watch the ones with feathers and strings unless they are short and elastic.

If you know anyone that could just pop in and check on them that would ease your mind.

If they already play in your room, they will be just fine as long as you leave them a potty box, food and water. It's only for a day. You can leave cats for much longer than that if you leave the above mentioned items. My cats love to play with small balls they can roll around.

it should be fine to leave them alone in the the house, for the day. Leave them some toys to play with (balls, all types of cat toys, the will also play with each other), 3/4 bowl full of food each and a large bowl of water and a litter tray and they should be fine they have each other to play with, they won't even notice.

Since you're only going out for the day, putting them in the bathroom with food, water, and a box should be fine.

Enjoy your trip!

I would make sure that you unplug everything and make sure that they have plenty of food and water I really think that if you take them out of their surrounding it may spook them and you maybe in for trouble when you come back.
