There's a girl that I have kind of fallen for. I expressed my feelings to her a while ago and she told me that it really hurt her to let me go but that it was something she had to do. I understand her situation, I have been through exactly what she is going through. Its not that anything bad is happening, just that she is VERY busy for the next few months.

At first I called her too much and didn't give her enough space. I am hoping that I didn't do irreversable damage as I know that she did have feelings for me before. For the past few weeks I have tried avoiding calling her as much as possible to maybe undo a little of what I have done. I also sent her an email every other week offering encouragement.

I haven't quite expressed my feelings to her since, but I think she probably knows. Also I think it might be a bad idea to make her start thinking about these things again just because she needs all the energy she has.

I mostly just want to know what I can do as a friend to rejuvenate some of the good feelings that we used to have for each other. I know that I still have them for her, but the situation has made us distant in many ways.

Do exactly that until she's busy- be her friend.

If you had a girl who was just a friend, what would you do for her?

Give this woman some space, call her every few days just to see how she's doing, and then every 2 weeks or so see if she'd want to go out for dinner or something on a weekend when her schedule is less hectic.

Most of all, if you care THAT much about her, stick around until this phase in her life passes.

Congratulations on caring enough about someone to even consider doing what you're doing. If a guy ever did that for me, I'd never let him go.

Good luck!

By now, she ought to be charmed. Knowing you have her attention. I say if she likes you that much, she would shoot some messages back at you. Or make time to see you.
