First, don't freak out. I've heard stress causes acne and such.

Second, wash your face thoroughly once in the morning and twice at night to remove debris.

Third, do NOT touch your face,

Fourth, don't overdo it on the medications. You might just end up with a giant red rash all over your face rather than a single zit. That wouldn't be too great either.

Fifth and finally, try rubbing toothpaste onto the zit and the area around it. After a while, gently wash the toothpaste off with lukewarm water. It should help to reduce the redness and size.

Another remedy I've tried is dabbing Listerine mouthwash onto the zit with a cotton swab. It worked for me and made the zit considerably less noticable.

I've also used Visine eyedrops on my zits, and that has worked well before too.

Ice is good for reducing swelling. Just wrap an ice cube in a napkin or paper towel and lightly press it to your skin.

Just remember, hands off -- your skin has oils! Don't apply too much makeup on the spot before Saturday either. Also, DON'T pick at it! Your face may be clear of the zit for now, but Saturday morning you may wake up with two or three of the same kind. Not good, trust me.

Hope this helps!

Do u have any make up at all? Okay, first put toothepaste on it(make sure its a paste not gel) leave it on all night and wash off in morning. Then, the next day, take a yellow highlighter marker thingy, and draw all ova the redness. Only on the zit! If u draw on the clear skin, it'll make the spot even more noticeable. Then take a powder or foundation and apply over the zit.

Try Murine Eye Drops. They can help take the redness out of a zit just like they do out of an eye. They shrink the blood vessles in the same way.

Applying a piece of cucumber might also work to relieve the swelling.

Some people swear by applying a small amount of white toothpaste onto the spot but that has never worked for me.

Sometimes I'll even apply a small piece of ice to the area.

Put an ice cub in a bag and hold it to your zit until the ice cube melts. Do that about every hour until the redness goes down, then continue every 2 hours. But get to your mall as soon as you can and go to the Clinique counter. Buy the Acne Solutions Spot Healing Gel. It helps me greatly. I also recommend buying the 3 step. It'll help with future zits. They'll skin type you there when you get there. Have fun

Don't mess with it too much or else it'll take longer to heal- try using Visine to get the redness down and then Ice to minimize the swelling. As long as you don't poke at it too much it should be smaller by Saturday.

Anything you put on your face you need to let it dry. if you have antibiotic cream for cuts put that on. also try ice it should take the swelling out (rubbing alcohol works good put it on the zit every two hours that should work fast.

believe it or not, put some peperation H hemmoroid ointment on it...it should clear up really soon, or try some toothpaste. Don't overwash your face-it could cause your skin to irritate and dry up, and cause you to break out even more.
