You'll only need to leave food for two of them. Guess which two.

hmmm, are you joking? You can't leave a 6 month old baby at home alone, not even with the best dogs in the world. They are dogs, and she's a human who needs care from humans. Find yourself a Nanny or a baby sitter.
Better yet, give the child up for adoption to a couple who really want a baby.

Use this as an oportunity to find yourself in your own home as a father instead of going on a trip. Yourself is a father, not a single man, so you should work on your parenting skills, work your way though the tragety by overoming it rather than giving in to it. The baby needs you, and you need the baby. Time heals all wounds, the best way to pass time is to keep busy and keep your mind off of your loss. Become a hero to your baby, this way your story goes, "your mommy died, so I did the only thing I could do, become the best father I could possibly be to take care of us", instead of "I wussed out and nearly lost you to being mauled by the dogs for food, where Social Services found out and took you away, and now we are not allowed to be father and child". I'm sorry for your loss, my condolances. GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS!

Its a 6 months old BABY who will feed her you idiot. Find a relative to keep her or take her to the Department of Children and Families they will find her a home. I'm sure your wife would just love to know you don't want the child the both of you created. How super sad for your child .

No not at all, dogs are unpredictable you never know what they will do next. Leaving a baby at home all by it self, is a foolish thing to do. Ever read the news about dogs mauling 2 year old infants ? that could happen to you, so i advise that you dont.
