my wife had her interview on august 29th,2006, the consular told her it would need further review, as of this date we have not heard anything from embassy, can anyone advise what is going on we have tried to call embassy, but they say just to wait

Don't push the embassy. Manila is one of the busiest embassies. It'll be about 6 weeks b-4 you get an answer. The case file needs to be reviewed again and she might be asked to interview again.

Good luck, I filed for my stepson 9 years ago and he hasn't even gotten the interview yet.
