Common dictionary definitions of truth mention some form of accord with fact or reality.

An illusion is a distortion of a sensory perception. Each of the human senses can be deceived by illusions, but visual illusions are the most well known. Some illusions are subjective; different people may experience an illusion differently, or not at all.

In my eyes they must both be looked at objectively. If someone tells you something is true, be objective about it and do not take it at face value. When you take things at face value that is how urban myths get started. Do the research and see if it is true for your self before you spread lies unknowingly to others, this cause harm and makes you lose credibility.

With illusion, well you should always look at an illusion with objectivity or you run the risk of being fooled by this illusion.

Truth is what people make it. If you ask 2 people what color the sky is you will get 2 different answers that are probably true. Illusion is something that a person uses to create the effect of truth. You can perceive both objectively but you must do so with eyes and mind wide open.

Truth is what already exists; the bedrock. It is that which cannot be changed by opinion or belief or debate or anything else. It is First Cause. ("First" does not imply time, for time does not exist.)

Illusion is whatever is unreal: time, space, death, evil, physicality as actual life; the "love" of God as perceived by modern religion, particularly Christianity, for that "love" comes with a catch, and God's actual Love comes completely without opposite.

It takes practice, but both can be perceived objectively, at least until the perceiver realizes that only the truth is true, and really feels its reality, then objectivity no longer applies. for one knows then that God is not objective about Its creation, which cannot sin, nor disappoint God in any way, for God is perfect Love.

Always remember, perception is a wish fulfilled.

Look around you right now. That's the truth. It lies in the moment. Your past is a story made up by you and others. But, it's just a story. The future does not yet exist. All there is is now.
They say Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, and Today is a Gift. That's why they call it the Present.

It really is a good exercise to stop, take 5 minutes to observe everything around you. (It also helps to stop the mind chatter.)
Illusion is thinking the stories in your head are real.
If you are looking for ultimate truth, you may have to wait until you've left this plane of existance.
I wish you well in your endeavors.

Jesus is the way, the TRUTH and the life. no man comes to the Father excpt thru Him.

illusions are: -
that there is no God
that there is no Hell
that there is no hurry (to get saved)

that there is another way to Heaven, other than by trusting in Jesus Christ as Saviour.

Truth: u need 2 b saved from Hell
Truth: only Jesus can save u
Truth: u need to be saved soon as u do not know when u will die/when Jesus will return.

Truth: Jesus is the ONLY way to Heaven. there is NO OTHER WAY.

Okay there, Pontius Pilate. He asked Jesus the same question at Jesus' trial. In the 2000 version of Jesus Christ Superstar, Pilate asks "And what is truth? Not easy to define! We both have truths, are yours the same as mine?" I love that statement, because it means truth isn't the same thing for everybody.

In reference to God, no one really knows the truth. Revelations is a good example of illusions.

Truth is what a good person seeks to find. Illusion is believing that you will eventually find it.

Truth is that which can't be denied in the presence of proof and illusion is that which can't be seen as truth because it has no substance of proof.
