Yes. I'd said it would take like 6-12 monts to lose 30 lbs. and keep it off. The faster you lose weight the more likely you are to gain it back, so take your time and lose it the right way.

30 pounds in three months is not unrealistic, but don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen. Generally, a healthy weight loss is between 1-3 pounds per week. However, the closer you are to your ideal weight, the slower you lose weight. So, while you might lose ten pounds this month, you may only lose 5 next month, and even less the month after. Also, muscle weighs more than fat. So, even if you lose fat, but you are geining muscle, you may still actually gain weight, according to your scale. You may want to measure your progress by inches, instead of pounds. Or jean sizes, or something more tangible- that way you won't get discouraged if the muscle takes place of the fat. It is a good plan, though. If you stick with it, you outta be looking REAL good by next summer. Good luck!! ♥

2 lbs a week is a healthy rate to take and keep weight off. The above looks like a good plan to go at that rate. Fresh squeezed juices w/ pulp, no sugar added are also good to drink. As long as you burn more calories than you take in, eat more small meals (5-6 a day) instead of 3 big ones you'll do well. Remember you may develop some muscle from exercising so you may lose inches and not pounds some weeks (muscle weighs more than fat). Good luck!

This looks like a very good plan. Do not eat whatever you want on weekends though - you can't be doing McDonald's or ice cream! Once you start eating healthy, you won't even want to eat crap. You should easily lose 30 lbs in 3-4 months if you are that much overweight. Good Luck!!!!

That sounds like a good plan. Just make sure you keep to it and don't give up on a nonfree day because soon you will just give up the whole plan. Also, the best thing to do is not eat 2 hours before you go to sleep. If you eat right before you go to sleep then the food will just be sitting in your stomach.

Working out is great. Just make sure you're burning more than you consume (calories in vs. calories out). But that doesn't mean no eating either. Don't go below 1200 cals for more than a couple days at a time.

This sounds good, except you should gradually build up your exercise routine; doing more week by week, up to the maximums you mentioned there.

Go to your local gym and talk this over with a fitness instructor just to be sure.

Good luck with it! :)

have your wisdom teeth out, like i did today. you can't eat anything for a few days (except mush) that should do it.
