It sounds more like "nervous stomach" than anything else. Tension causes it. I don't think it's acid reflux -- that causes a definite burning sensation _above_ the stomach and is too uncomfortable to be mistaken for butterflies. If you had a pain on the right side just under your ribs it might be a gallstone, or a pain lower down -- between the hip joint and the navel -- might be appendicitis. Again, both of those are too severe to be called "butterflies", and with the appendicitis you'd probably have a fever too. If you've been losing sleep, I'd say that makes general nervousness an even more likely explanation.

You might try a _mild_ antacid, like Rolaids, to see if that helps any. Pregnancy does not sound likely (even if you weren't so sure it's impossible) -- symptoms would be slightly different and probably more severe. Is your BF a Good Guy? You might -- if he's the kind of person you could trust -- tell him that your arguments are giving you these problems. I hope he's really a friend and not just a guy you go around with. Sympathy is one of the best cures around.
