I know somone that dropped out of high school in 10th grade (in this past june) and that was in CT, now they want to get in to a GED in AZ. Does anyone know how long they have to be officaliy out of school to get in GED in Arizona?

You can get your GED while you are STILL ENROLLED. There is no time lapse required.

The AZ Dept of Ed states that a person has to be 18 years old.

I just took the test( in Ontario) you have to be 18, and you have to be out of highschool for one full year,

It shouldn't matter how long. Call the local school board
