After all the universe is approximately 14000,000,000 years old, that's fourteen billion years...and even though Earth itself is not quite that old there has still been ample time for plenty of evolution to occur.

You mean he doesn't yet? If God is supreme in ultimate blunt power, then Man surely is the master of complex debate. Score one for the ape that learned to reason, I reckon.

If we base the bible on evolution than the creator is an ape, period! The first organisms or I mean the first humans were made in his image, right than by evolution,I conclude god is a primitive monkey.I dont believe in what I just said but am basing my answer on evolution/bible!

actually its more like 6000

in the things that matter most for our well being, we can be made like Him thorugh the power of the cross, beign more like His character, his mercy, his purity and love...

but God will always be infinitely above us in some ways...
the quality of depth, being everywhere, all powerful and all knowing and the like... will always be eyond us... its transcendent

and its ok..
it will be what will make heaven heaven, having a God who we were made in His image in a sense who is beyond us in other senses where we wil have the great adventure of knowing Him more and more enjoying Him forever

The concepts of God and evolution are not compatible. You can have one or the other, but not both.
