Flesh colored ink is not really flesh colored to most people, it is kind of rosy colored. I have that type of ink and it looks nothing like my flesh, I used it to color the face and arms of my fairy on my leg and it looks really nice but that is because it is contrasting to my skin color.

You should look into getting a cover up tattoo, a good tattoo artist can do wonderful things with old and bad tattoos and it would cost a lot less then laser removal which can cost about $150.00 per square inch of tattoo.

Tattooing injects ink into the dermal layer of the skin. If there is already ink there, then new ink added will usually just mix together with the old ink. Thus, if the new ink is darker than the old ink, it will look more like the new ink. If the old ink is darker, then you're just wasting your time. So, unless you have a light color tattoo on very dark skin(which I'm not sure how possible that is anyway), I'd say this isn't real.

I had a tatoo removed by laser treatments. It works, but is very expensive, and quite painful. It took me 7 treatments to completely remove the tatoo. Mine was very dark (alot of black), so took more than the normal amount of sessions. The price is according to how large the tattoo is. Even having the tattoo removed isn't perfect. The laser removes the ink, but any scaring caused by the tattoo application will remain. Light colored ink (flesh colored) is not going to cover the darker ink colors.

You might be better having a new one over the top cos as far as I know if you have skin colouring done if you go out in the sun then the colour will stay the say and the rest of your arm will tan, not good.

Have never seen skin colored ink. Have you tried turning the tatoo into something else? Also, I have heard that some people elect to have it surgically removed but it sounds to me like that would be a bit hard on you if the tatoo is very large.

Good Luck.

That would look horrible, especially if you get a tan or soemthing...

The shop around here, has this new tattoo thing, that makes the tattoo ink powderize on the surface of your skin.
Not sure how bad it may scar, or anything like that, but maybe you should look into that.

it doesn't work. (but you would go to a tattoo studio for something like that). Your options are laser removal (expensive and leaves a scar, also painfull); getting a coverup or re-build on the tattoo (less expensive but still pricey, find an artist who has lots of coverup work in his/her portfolio); learn to live with it (free, but not so great an option)
