My girlfriend is older than I and we are both inlove with oneanother, but sometimes I get insecure and think that she may leave me for an older Man. I really love her and she is my first girlfriend so I'm like a very nice guy type when I'm with her, she gets alot of my attention, sometimes I feel as though she's in control of almost everything.

My husband is 10 years younger than me (40/30)...I had dated guys of all ages before we met (about 5 years ago).

I didn't realize how young he was until after we were a year into the relationship and very close. It was only a difference of about 4 years from what I thought his age was, but if I had known his real age when we met, I wouldn't have given him the time of day.

He is more mature than ME in most aspects! I was dating men in their 50s when I met my husband, and they were great guys too.

I really believe that after a guy hits about 28, he doesn't change much....I think that's a good thing, but lots of women seem to think that men will change.

She is in control of everything-- that's why she wanted a younger guy - so she could control him and always be superior to him. She probably won't leave you for an older man, but eventually she won't be able to control you because you'll have matured, so she'll find a younger replacement to control.
Or, she'll decide she wants a baby and pressure you to grow up real fast.

I think it's natural to feel a little dominated, she is older and probably a little wiser. But that is a role dealt out and played by ur own insecurities. Just treat her as u would someone ur own age, and not her age #. Remember, after 18, age is just a number. It's all about the maturity level.

kopguy33 has a good point dude.......although women like to be treated nicely and with respect.....they usually find a man that has no backbone to be unattractive. A women wants a man....that is a real man. I'm not putting you down, I'm just saying you need to let her know that you are a man...and not her puppet when and if the time comes to be so.

She IS in control of everything because you are a weak guy and a doormat.
She'll probably dump you for another guy.
