The crucifixion was prophecied by Isaiah and other OT prophets before there were crosses also.

The Koran was written after Christ & rejected the teachings of the cross. Salvation through Christ Atonement for our sins. You don't have the Christian foundation in the Koran. Peter confessed Jesus the Christ, the Son of the Living God... Jesus said on this Rock He will build His Church. The Koran rejected the message of the cross.

The Roman empire was the main world super power back in the day. Also be advised that crucifixion was not solely used by the Romans. The Romans adopted many things from the people they conquered. For instance, the bag pipes, you may think that it's origin comes from Scotland, the fist bag pipe was invented by the Egyptians, it only had one pipe but could carry a tune, the Scott's just improved on it. The Romans stretched as far as the Great Britain where alot of the customs and goods were traded and shared. Plus don't forget that the Karon was written way after the Death of Christ.

Crucifixion was not limited to the upright T-shaped cross we're familiar with, also X-shaped crosses were used universally as a criminal punishment by many cultures. Although the Romans spread their empire far into these other lands, they weren't the first people to have the horrible idea.

Well, the Koran in its finality (is that a word?) was revealed around 1500 years ago and the romans period was before this time, so why shouldnt it be written about in the Koran.

No .. it was present but not crosses .. the verse says:

(Pharaoh) said: believe ye in him before I give you permission? surely this must be your leader, Who has taught you magic! Be sure I will cut off your hands and feet on opposite sides, and I will have you crucified on trunks of palm trees: So shall ye know for certain, which of us can give the more severe and the more Lasting punishment!

Also read the old testament to know that Crucifixion was not invented by roman
