It's not ALL Jewish girls, it's only the married ones. They do it because after they're married their hair becomes a special thing that is only for their husband. So they keep it covered around all other men.

thats not girls, thats married jewish women. many actually wear wigs instead, so that they can still look beautiful and attractive while still keeping their true hair a "secret". its just considered modesty, wanting only their husbands to see their "most precious asset", etc. most jewish women don't actually do it. jewish men covering their heads is a lot more common.

A lot of different religions and cultures cover their hair. It is in the old testament and that is what they follow. There is nothing wrong with it. I think it makes them look serene and humble.
