Where do I find the TV & DVD player codes?

Yep.. that's why they are universal. You just need to make sure the remote you buy can control DVD players- some older ones might only work with VCRs.

You just enter the code for your Panasonic TV, then the code for the JVC DVD player and it wil control both...

Probably. Consult the manual. it will give you a list of codes relative to the brand name of given appliances you are attempting to operate using your universal remote. There will be lots of them. If one doesn't work, then try the next. I've found that entering the last code# listed is generally the one that works.

Check the owners manual for your universal remote control, the codes for each device should be listed in the manual.
If you do not have the manual , try going to the mfg. website, and download the manual for your particular remote control.

your tv should of come with a customer service number....they will have the codes and be glad to help you with that.
