why do people kill black cats and other animals by the color of their fur it makes me sad it is so stupip a cat is a cat there was a guy in my moms old neighbrohood every halloween he would drive around and run over black cats in the steet and people kill white boxers to why? its so dumb

Used to be superstition. Now its just cause people are sick bastards.
White boxers is because white boxers are not good breeding stock as most white boxers carry the gene for deafness. This is not an excuse to kill them, but it is why some do.

it is superstition from way back when...people used to think they were associated with witchcraft, and that they were perhaps the animal form of witches, that they could turn into a cat. Also associaed with bad luck. At Halloween, the SPCA suggest not to let your black cat out as people may torture or kill them. They also don't adopt out any black cats in the weeks before and during Halloween as people sometimes use them as part of their costumes.

Some think it's bad luck for a black cat . And some are in some kinds of cults and they sacerfice them . But I think it's really cruel and I hope they get caught and go to jail for a very long time. I love all cat's and anmial and I dont want them to get hurt or killed. If they did that to my cat thier going to get hurt badly.

Some people are cruel, some more than others. I had a brother-in-law who would shoot any cat that went in his yard. There's that stupid superstition that if a black cat crosses your path its bad luck. Maybe that has something to do with it. Stupid is right and worse. I don't trust people who hate animals, especially cats. They are such great pets.

Good question. Why would anyone want to kill an animal just because of it's color. Stupid or superstitious people do some strange things. But then again there are alot of SICK...SICK...SICK....CRUEL people in this world.
But then again I am a advocate for owners of cats and dogs to always keep their animals safe, on leashes or for cats mine never go outside....SAFE!!!

actually now black cats are considered good luck. as far as the guy who runs over black cats, highly unlikely chances are you are more apt to get hit by lightning then run over a black cat on Halloween.

People kill white boxers, because white is not a common color for a boxer, its a birth defect, and no one would want a white boxers. My friends who bred rottweilers her A litter has 3 Red Rottweilers.

I know. It's so sad! Why would people kill a poor , harmless animal just beacause of it's fur! Animals are living creatres just like you and me! I happen to love cats!! PS: I saw you answer on my question , I picked it best answer.
