I have to do a Career Report and I am curious about Band Bookers. However, it has been hard to find information on them because I don't think that is the official title of their job. If anybody can help please do. I need information on people who book shows, gigs, concerts, whatever you want to call them. Please tell me if you know where I can get this information, or you know the official job title.

The title is officially "Booking Agent". At the lower level of the scale (loval bands) the manager is usually the one to do so; however, when you are dealiung with a national act, then the manager hires out the job to an expert who specializes in booking tours and such.

If you do a search, you will find several of them on the net. Contact them and get information on what it is they do, and what their job truly is.
Good luck on the report.

You don't mean "agent" do you?
Try "impresario." There used to be a famous impresario named Sol Hurok that was so famous himself that, when a hall was advertising, the fact that Sol Hurok was presenting was almost more important than who the performers might actually be.
