There is no choice. It's against the law point blank!

Mexico and Latin countries are not starving.

Other countries in the world are victims of genocide and starvation and dying of disease. These are the countries that truly need our attention.

We need to scape the leeches off America and help truly needy countries if anything!

I think illegal immigration is ... well, illegal. And it is a theft of another country's resources, which includes citizenship and the privilege of living there. One reason it's nice to live here is because of all the industry and progress and wealth this country has put up, which derived largely from people working together and following the rules and not stealing from the community pot. Now, it's what can I get, not how can I contribute. Breaking the laws is a good way to make a bad start.

An amnesty for all illegal immigrants will not work because all those who are pedophiles, murderers, thieves, etc. have nothing to offer in exchange for legality. Massive deportation is also a bad idea, since not only it's not moral, but it will be a catalyst for a worse situation in their home countries. Thus, if we deport all illegals, we will have twice as many next decade. The best solution in my point of view is to increase border and visitor-immigration security, and then do a filtered amnesty for those who are already here.

I am against illegal immigration because my ancestors did it the legal way. I have travelled to 10 other countries, so I understand why people want to live in the U.S. They should do it the legal way--our country is all about following the law.

Why does everyone talk constantaly about this issue? I do believe it is becoming an issue, but can't you understand that they need a better life? I know about how hard it is to live in another country because one of my dear friends is over here from Mexico, he is legal, but he always tells me how hard it is over there to make it. My BEST FRIEND'S parents are both from Mexico(she was born here, though). She tells me that her parents lived very poorly and they were lucky to make it at all sometimes. So, where do I stand? I don't know. But, if they want to become legal, they should be allowed to stay and get that opportunity, rather than to be shipped back to the horrid living standards they had before moving here. Hope that this helps you and good luck with your question.

I think it is ruining our schools, health care and services and is making health care and insurance unaffordable for too many of our people because health care costs now have to compensate for the bills so many illegals do not pay.

I wish there were a way to get our arms around it. I think we should have a sundown deal and let everyone who is here stay and start fresh by controlling the borders. A lot of people are against that, but we need to get this fixed and talking it to death is not a solution.

I'm against because they are breaking the law. However, I sympathize with them but they can't sneak into our country. A strong fence with lots of national guards.
