In 1982 Washington D.C. was full of Illegals. Reagan didn't like it because of the high rate of crime they inflicted on our Nation Capital. He got the INS to raid few businesses, fine them & to arrest the illegals. The word got out ,businesses stopped hiring illegals& all the Illegals ran away from D.C. SIMPLE ,ISN'T IT ??? WHY CAN'T WE ASK OUR FAT LAZY CORRUPT LAW MAKERS TO DO THAT ??? AND WHAT WITH THAT GOVERNER OF NEW MEXICO ,RICHARDSON who wants AMNESTY for the ILLEGALS ???

I have a better solution, although I like yours. Treat the people who hire illegals like drug dealers. They do more damage than drug dealers.
When they get caught not only do they do long prison sentences but they have their stuff confiscated. I bet it would take very few instances

This is a huge issue. I'm all for immigration, but if my great grandfathers came over here through legal means, learned AND spoke the language and paid their dues to become citizens and assimilated into society, then why shouldn't everyone else coming over here? Why do we provide more free aid to these people who don't want to become "Americans", just Mexicans who don't want to live in Mexico? If you want to live here then do it legally, learn the language and become a productive member of our society.

If 'your' lawmakers are fat and lazy, may I suggest you make an appointment with your senator, congressman take a look at what they do, how the laws are created, the amount of time they invest in their work, then they have to travel to their constituency and make nice there. If you really have a solution put it writing and send it to your fat, lazy law maker.

round them up and make business owners pay the price for hiring them in the first place. I say shoot if they try to cross border if they don't want to come here legally then they should be shipped back asap!

I'm with you. I hate to see people suffer, so don't hire them and they have no incentive to stay. Maybe they'll protest their own government for decent working conditions.
