I have been dating this guy. We went on two dates together. Friday we were supposed to do something. Go to the beach however, he calls me last night. He tells me that he does not think we should see eachother anymore because it is getting too serious. He told me on our first date he was looking for a long term relationship. He was in his early 20's. I think he might of been afraid going steady or something. Could I be right? Was he afraid of commitment or going steady?

guys can change thier minds just as easily without no reason just as girls can. maybe after meeting you the second time, he actually thought about it and having a long term relationship with you and just decided to play the field more, that or you just arent his type. it happens all the time, so dont get too discouraged. find yourself another man, keep dating until you find the right one. thats just the way life is. good luck

You are looking for a commitment on the third date!? Maybe you scared him off by your words/actions. Many people in their early 20's are at the stage of finding themselves, starting careers, having fun. You should try this as well.

Yes guys that age are usually afraid of commitment. Try going for some older guys. There more responsible.

That type are too foolish.
You need an older MAN to really care about and for you.
Try keeping company with 50 to 70 YOlds.
They will be so kind and warm you'll discover 20 YOlds are dog food. :)

most of the guys in this age think always that they r still young he can find a better chance than the girl he have so he go from one relationship to another until he find him self become old and he want to get commited to a girl so he dont think when he choose
and the second problem that 95% of the girls dont know how to keep her man with her and make him cant see any girl excpet her so u should try to do this and dont worry u will find a guy who want to be commited with u :) dont worry
and im one of the guys who is looking to get commited to a good and nice girl who knows how to respect me and i respect her

yes they are, they are mostly not to commit. Their too young and have many options so dont think that a young guy will commit so easily. Some will but most dont.

YES, all guys of all ages are afraid of commitment.
If and when its worth it to him to be there and stay , then he will.
Otherwise, no. They are designed that way. Not like women at all. Its amazing we don't kill each other. I guess occasional sex prevents it.
