In American cooking, a chocolate brownie, also known as a brownie or a Boston brownie, is a small, rich, chocolate cake, similar to a cookie, named after its rich brown color. It is sometimes covered with fudge and may contain nuts, chips (chocolate, butterscotch, peanut butter, etc.). The first known mention of a brownie is believed to be in the 1897 Sears and Roebuck catalog. Brownies often have an icing, either chocolate icing or an icing sugar based icing flavored with either vanilla or mint extract.

A brownie is like a dense pc. of chocolate cake. The process begins by making a thick chocolate batter, it's then poured into a greased baking pan and baked for about 20 min.+ or - until it's done, then it's cut into squares. The top of the brownies usually get crispy. Sometimes people add in different kinds of nuts like walnuts and items such as chocolate chips. To be really decadent, you can add in peanut butter top it off with chocolate frosting.

A brownie is a sweet that is mostly made like a cake, but isn't as fluffy. Basic brownies use cocoa powder as a base, so they have a chocolately flavor, but can also have additives such as chocolate chips and the like. However, they can be made in other flavors - vanilla, butterscotch, etc.

No, I don't particularly like them because I do not like sweets.

actually, brownie is a type of cake made with flour cocoa powder milk, eggs and a type of fat ( butter, oil). This is a versatile cake that you can put nuts, more chocolate, peanut butter.... I am from puerto rico, this is not a typical food we eat here, that is more of an American type of food. But we do eat that here and its quite satisfying when you want something chocolaty.

Oh my goodeness, you don't know what I brownie is?
Oh well, don't be ashamed :)
It's kind of like really rich, almost fudgy chocolate cake, but it's about the size of a normal cookie (if it was a square cookie). Brownies are made just like a cake, but you cut them into little squares out of the pan.
I really like them, maybe someday you'll try one and like it too!! :)

Brownies are wonderful!

They are basically a sort of dense chocolate cake that is frosted and cut into roughly square serving sized chunks.
