Bring our troops home from Iraq, Korea and anyother where we have our soldiers to guard the border. When they catch an illegal immigrant crossing the border, hand him a canteen, rifle and some ammo and ship him to Iraq. Tell him if he wants to come to America, then he must serve a tour in the military. Give him a soldier's pay while he's there and tax him on it. After his tour, he will be allowed to become a USA citizen since he defended this country. He will also be registered to be taxed and be a legal patriot. This option will probably deter illegal immigration and provide a solution for the troops in Iraq. This will also give the Illegal immigrants who are trying to make a better life for them selves to live in another country since they don’t want to be living Mexico anyway. If they refuse to serve, ship them to Iraq anyway, without the canteen, rifle or ammo.

That just about covers it lol Now that's a workable solution.Why not its work isn't it ,it gives great benefits to his/her family.Pays not great but better than in Mexico.
And for the other illegals that are flooding in from Canada
(yeah right) same thing Make them pesky Canadians
want to stay in Canada.Oh and by the way some of the people coming across the southern border are not Mexican,some are from other country's too.I'm trying to cover all the bases so I wont be called a racists,by the Hispanics on this forum.
Ditto .I never thought of it that way perhaps you are correct about the weapons ,but tell me how hard is it to get a weapon for anyone here in the states.Not hard.

What do you think our government would do if it was North Korea invading our southern boarder and how do they know they aren't?
I don't agree with giving illegal aliens guns they can't be trusted and hate Americans too much.
Most come from Communist countries and have Communist beliefs. Why do you think we see all this distorted logic.
No matter the cost, it will cheaper and safer to deport illegal aliens before they start burning down the country.

I did the math once - to totally close the border - you CAN do it. But you'll need over 200 million people to achieve it.
OR, you can find the balance for the return on investment - i.e. beyong a certain point, it's cheaper just to let people in. That's not just some Liberal view - that's a plain hard FACT.

The part about serving our country as a requirement for citizenship is a good one....but what about their 15 or 16 kids while they are serving?
