Laylat al-Qadr (also known as Shab-e-Qadr), literally the Night of Destiny or Night of Measures, is the anniversary of two very important dates in Islam that occurred in the month of Ramadan.
Muslims believe that it was on this night that God first sent down the first verses of the Qur'an via the Spirit of Revelation Gabriel, to Muhammad(PBUH) when he was forty years old.
It is also the anniversary of the night in which the Qur'an was first communicated in its entirety to Muhammad(PBUH).

the night inwhich the noble Quran was revealed.

In the Name of Allaah

1. Verily! We have sent it (this Qur'ân) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree)

2. And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is?

3. The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allâh in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, i.e. 83 years and 4 months).

4. Therein descend the angels and the Rûh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] by Allâh's Permission with all Decrees,

5. Peace! (All that night, there is Peace and Goodness from Allâh to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn.

MASHALLAH...LAILAT-UL-QADR IS THE BLESSED NIGHT GIVEN BY ALLAH TO ALL PIOUS MUSLIMS AND GIFTED US WITH AL QURAAN... IF YOU SPEND THIS NIGHT(26TH OF RAMADHAN) IN PRAYERS ITS EQUIVALENT TO MORE THAN THOUSANDS OF NIGHTS IN IBAADAT(PRAYER)... AND ON THIS DAY ALLAH WRITES EVERYONE'S DESTINY FOR THE NEXT ONE YEAR... ALLAHOUAKBAR...
