That is true; but wait there is more. It is not something confined to the history books my friend. Today's murderous dictator is as big a fan as Stalin and Stalin. Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe is a big fan of gun control. Before he knocked down thousands of houses and killed hundreds he made sure to confiscate their guns. Unarmed slaves are much easier to manipulate.
Gun control has a proud history in America as well. It began as a Jim Crow law. Last thing they wanted was blacks with guns. I am sure they still say that as long as the black men are not in the room.
Read "More Guns Less Crime" by John Lott if you want the true story on gun control. The liberals call him names; typical tactics but they cannot refute his data.

Think about it, if you wanted everyone to have to go along with what you wanted unconditionally, then keep them totally powerless. Try putting a declawed cat in a room with nothing but cats with claws. Watch how he figures out that he has no control over anything. Remember, the 2nd Amendment is the one amendment that guarantees all the rest.
