Actually, the Quran is an altered form of the Bible. Mohammed read the Bible which is where he got the basis for his influence.

We have self belief interior the three books, The Quran, The Bible, and the Tourah. We purely have self belief that the Christians have replaced the writing of the Bible and the Jews did an identical with the Tourah.

Uhhhh...... Cuz it isnt written by God, and it was tampered and editted by man??
Just look at what recently came to light - the number of the beast, as written in the oldest surviving copy of a greek text, was 616, not 666.... Some stupid scribe who was translating the book editted it incorrectly. There is your proof. Then, you people have like 100 different versions of the Bible. Which one is the original? No one knows that anymore.

Because things are always lost in translation. Also, some believe the Catholic church was selective in it's translation of some passages. Now, I think that those who translated from the original language did the best they could, but as the language they were translating from wasn't their native language it had to be difficult.
Also, Islam isn't the only religion who believes this.

Actually King James sent out his crusades to find every ounce of information that was written by the prophets and the muslims think it was tampered with. Of course, if you read every bible version there is, there are alot of similarites. You must understand that GOD said there will be many false prophets and Satan will try to deceive believers. You must ignore the ignorant and pray to GOD in Jesus name. You will get the answers you seek if you truely open your heart. Don't be mad a others who critisize GOD for they will see the truth one day. GOD bless you.

I'm a christian and believe that yes, the bible has been altered. Think about how old it is, how many versions there are, how many times its been translated, written by fallible humans who can misinterpret or purposefully mislead. So, although I follow it and believe it, I don't believe that it is "word for word" the true and perfect word of God.

for the simple reason that there are tens of versions of bible out there today. they are different from each other, which is the original one? none of these are the same as the oldest bible that are found, which is original again? On the other hand Every Sinlge Quran you can find anywhere in the world is the same word by word as the oldest one ever found. as for bible being the word of God, we do beleive that this is the word of God, but that actual word from the time of Jesus PBUH is not available anymore, peace

Why, if the Bible has not been altered or tampered with, are there 100 different versions of it.
