So many answers!

Can you sleep, can you relax, can you enjoy your family and social life?

If you answer no to the above questions, then you probably are stressed!

You should try to relax, maybe pick a less stressful career and switch off at the end at the day (from work). Going for regular walks or getting some form of exercise is good for the mental and the physical!

Try to thankful for what you DO have! Life is very short and we shoudl enjoy all the pleasures we can while here! All we leave is a memory, try to make it a happy, thankful one!

Cheer up and chin up matey!

It is like a big curtain coming down round about yourhead and you find it difficult to focus. It's also difficult to concentrate.

Time seems to fly but you never get anything done.

You feel strangely "disconnected".

Once you experience and recognise stress- REAL stress- you will never forget and it makes it easier to deal with the next time.

That's the scary thing about stress. Most of the time, we don't know that we are stressed. Our bodies are capable of handling an awful lot of stress and our resistance to it goes up when we "handle" more of it.
When we've reached our limit, we usually get sick, or we flip out. Then we know for sure that we're stressed.

I go only answer you from my own experience, everyone handles things differently
You just don't think straight
You forget things you would normally not
Don't sleep well can not switch off
Burst into tears for no reason - just a small thing can happen
Feel out of control
Sad
Shattered
Not knowing sometimes what to do next of for the better

Chin up and smile and you get through it
