10-16 years old? What if that child was a friend of yours? I'm not say all paople do this but there have been alot that have. AND yes I'm aware I have not been the nicest but hate begats hate.

I would think its safe to say that at least half of these people wouldnt say the things they say here to the people they talk about in their face. Although, it would be interesting to watch!

It depends on what things you are talking about saying and the exact age of the child in question. A 16 year old can understand more than a 10 year old, so it would have to be something they could understand. I have no illegal friends, and when I disagree with a friend it is perfectly okay for us to agree to disagree. We all have the right of an opinion.

My children are all adults now, but we always allowed open discussion on all issues, and we didn’t always agree. I knew that some of the friends of my children and their families had very different views than I held—I never disparaged them or their parents’ views. When asked I tried to answer as truthfully as I could without belittling the opposing view. It’s the same philosophy that I have exercised here on Yahoo.
However, here on Yahoo Answers I have seen some of the most hateful ranting that I seen in my lifetime. Unfortunately, the anonymous format seems to bring out the worst in some people.

Well Gidget, not all my children are white, and even though they are family you would not believe the fights they get in to.
Do I talk people that I believe are illegals , like I do on this board the answer is "NO". I honestly don't associate with any like that, I have worked for a company that employed alto of them. To directly talk to some one about a political issue that is as heated as this one might lead to a argument, and most companies will not tolerate that, so I use this forum, as well as a few others to see what other people are thinking.
As for talking to children, for the most part of it they have very little understanding of politics. Children think more of what is right and wrong, and have no real grasp on how stupid things can get when politicians get involved. So really it is pointless to talk to children about politics in general.

Yes there are a lot of people at this site and in our great USA who harbor much hate against anyone who the consider non white. I am Pro Immigration but realize that we have to secure the border and need Immigration Reform. I base my opinions not on an emotion but educated guesses..... we are raising a violent society.... just look at our children playing war games in the schools.

I don't think that the internet is for children. Point blank. Parents who let their children wander the internet are BAD parents and are basically allowing their child to wander the streets of the worst city on the planet.

Yes I would politely get on one knee take the little kids hand and say" sweetheart your parents are criminals and do not belong here I am truly sorry your parents took the easy way out and came to the US Illegally and now are putting you through all this drama but you may have to go home home with them soon but you can come back when your older because your a citizen" Thats if they were born here of course! Elvira's seven year old son only knows what his mother tells him and that is why kids are brainwashed to think that Americans are racist. Maybe they should look at a dictionary and find out what the word really means and then find another word that is relevant to what they are really going through!

It's a lot not alot . Are you saying 10-16yo have matured and understand and see the world the same as when your 20,30,40? Should we take 10-16yo to the border to teach them right from wrong and that sneaking across the border is doing wrong

It's their parents that have out them in this position not the people on here..... I would not be friends with an illegal... but I would tell any children the truth. Let them learn early...Life's Tough!

I would absolutely say whatever I say here to ANYONE. BUT then again I am not a "closet hater" who hides behind an internet screen and uses "everyday issues" as a means to get a sick point across.
