wondering how long/what do to get rid of it

It is probably just some scar tissue, it will eventually go away. That happened to me at one time but, it took awhile for it to go away.

Scar tissue . I was bit in the lip by a pitbull around age 12, & have something about the same size in my lower lip. you can't see it, but I still feel it * shrug * ( age 22 now )
Maybe ask your doctor, if the lump is visisble & you really want it gone.

probably scar tissue it will probably shrink in a couple more weeks but it may not go all the way away

It's probably a dried blood clot ;it should go away in time.

i would bet it's scar tissue.
