As a christian myself even I can answer this question. Its because they heart's and mind's are not open. People don't want to be looked down upon, or taught at. I know the other reason is because how it is presented. If it is presented in a mean way or critisizing way, they will not want anything to do with christians and they will be turned off.

They would rather see the love of God. For God did not come to the world to condemn the world, (Which is how some christian's act on this site,) but to save the world. If Some christian's would stop condemning the non-christian's and start being a positive role model, Then they wouldn't be so hasty toward's christian's.

A lot of Non-christian's already know the basis verses which you have already posted. Now its a matter of putting our faith into action and letting God to the work. For one plant's, another sew's, and another water's.

~~ ,,,Because your Dogma is no more valid than any other Dogma presented to the masses as The Truth,,, AND it cannot stand up to honest scrutiny by the most sincere questioner who is ultimately confronted to accept the Big Leap,,,,of Faith, that is. Your chosen Prophets and Scripture indeed have elements of 'truth' about them,,, but no more, no less than other culture's prophets and "holy scripture" which you've never heard of before. You are therefore held in constant ignorance, because like ALL organized religions there is always a tenet which claims that all other viewpoints to be Anathema. As the Churchlady says."How Conveeeeeeeenient."

Whoa!! As a believer, I have a question, how can you throw quotes of a Bible (that you believe in) to a person who does not believe in God, or the Bible. There is an old song, " They will know we are Christians by our love." Actions, deeds, and the demonstration of spiritual satisfaction of life through living (your belief), will open up a non-believer's heart. Quotation and a condescending attitude may get you the opposite response.

I have a feeling that, even though I'm a Christian who believes in God Himself, you can praise Him through hard times. It hurts to see others out there who don't know what life is for them. Eternal death is their way, if they don't come to the Father. They may mock. They may steal kill and destroy. But it is all Satan who has made us feel paranoid and just bogged down. The world just isn't a safe, cultured place anymore...but God willl work through your hard times, and I will not tell you what you need to do with your life, because even though I may feel the same way, it's just God moving through your life. Keep in prayer, and I have faith in you!
PS: i don't care who is reading this, if anyone hurts you in any way, you can call upon God, for He shall supply all your needs according to His riches and Glory. Please, don't be discouraged about the world. Be Encouraged about what He has done for you!

In Christ,
daisy (Jenna)

No, you give us your opinion about what Truth is. Just like everyone else. So why don't you appreciate Pagans or Muslims or any other religious teachings? Why are you trying sooo hard to get non-believers to just give in to you? Quoting a book to a person who doesn't believe in it, especially in the same way you do, is nonsense. Would you like me to quote the Egyptian Book of the Dead to you to prove how Right the Egyptians are?

Hi Maurice! Nice to 'see' you here. I'm a believer and Christian and can appreciate you wish to share the scriptures, but it will not be taken kindly here. I do hope you put on the Full Armor of God today.

God Bless you.

Why don't you grasp the reality from our point of view? I am Agnostic and I think that there may be a God. I have absolutely no doubt, that the bible is in no way a portrayal of God or the man Jesus. You can spout bible verses until your last day and I will never believe otherwise. It is sad that you would actually believe that God is that way.

Let's say I tell you that ducks wear sailor suits and talk. Now, I tell you that this "truth" is the ONLY truth and I can produce a book that not only claims it, but has pictures that will leave no doubt. Would you deny this "truth?"

And, if you did reject this "truth," how appreciative would you be of those who demand that this "truth" be accepted, hound you about it constantly and demand that this "truth" be injected into every aspect of society?

As your Christian sister, may I say that your style of asking and your long winded sermon are usually a turn off to most people.

Next time, ask a simple, straightforward question.

Most people see your question and Bible quotes and are just simply turned off. Rephrase the question so that is genuine.
