You're gonna have to try to tell him. Subtly of course. My bf dont smell but for some strange man reason he tries to get out of having a shower (prob got comfy) so I get the shower running for him then tell him to get in it and i'll wash him , or actually get in with him. Fun whilst washing. lol. I also told him i make the effort to look nice for him, so he can bloody well wash for me

Arrange and tell him that you've planned to have a really special pampering evening just for him. Give him a basket/box with soap, shower spray, talcum powder, body spray, deodorant and after shave. With the after-shave do ensure it's one that you like, and then tell him that whilst he takes care of his bath/shower etc., you are going to prepare a special meal for him.

Then reward him with lots of compliments as to how great it is to be with him smelling so delicious etc., make him feel really special and hopefully he will get the message.

If not at an appropriate time sit down and discuss the issue reminding him of the wonderful evening you shared.
It may well be that the soap powder, soap etc that he uses are not compatiable or there could even be an underlying cause so be patient, make the effort to help him and hopefully you will be rewarded.

Good Luck.

are we talking unwashed smell? then he needs to work on his personal hygiene, and you can put your foot down (gently, and not in public) and say, "sorry, I can't do this, you need to learn a bit of metrosexuality here."

Or are we talking the fundamental "him" smell that you can't stand? Is he your new beau and you've recently split from a long term? Then you may get used to it and grow to love it.

Subtly try to introduce him to something to solve the problem...ie if he's got b.o. a nice Lynx gift set or if its his breath start eating a lot of mints & constantly offer them to him.

Obviously as last resort if you cant get rid of the smell get rid of the boyfriend

Did he have this smell BEFORE you became a couple? What smell are we talking about? Is it work related? Need more details to give a concise answer.

I don't know about you, but I'd be honest and tell him. Let him know that it's a turn off and give him some products to try. Does he shower daily? What kind of job does he have? Maybe he needs to shower more than once a day.

invite him into the shower , buy him a fragrance he likes
feed him food with mint , use fragrant shower gel on him,
buy him new sox , fabreeze his closet, tell him his deodorant hasn't been holding up and that it is important to change brands every mo or so our bacteria become immune to the same kind of deodorant. if all else fails you need to tell him because it could inter fear with allot of aspects in his life like working.good luck

Avoid the shower for a week or more. Then you will smell stronger than him

Buy him a different cologne and tell him how much you love this scent and would love it if he would wear it. Just make it sound like you don't hate the way he smells currently so you don't hurt his feelings.
