Brush her more often - at least every day so the fur ends up on the brush and not in her stomach.

Also give her femalt or another hairball remedy to help her poop them out.

Try routine grooming to remove the dead hair, what you see on the brush could potentially be what is in your cats guts! If this doesn't work, try using Katalax (laxative for cats) as constipation may also be a problem later on....some of this hair is probably already lining your cats intestines! You can get this at your vet...I am unsure about other sources

Change it's food to a hairball formula that prevents the formation of hairballs in the stomach andb brush her more often at least every day so the fur ends up on the brush and not in her stomach.

groom her daily with a zoom groom to help her. The less fur she swallows the less fur balls she has to cope with. None of my 12 cats has ever had a fur ball but I groom them all every day.

Give her Vaseline - petroleum jelly. Some will lick it right off your fingers, for others you have to just shove it in there. Do it every couple of days for a while (about half a teaspoon), then reduce to once a week, then you will see how often you need to do it. Really works, recommended by vets, helps extremely well.

I get these cat sweeties from the pet shop, she loves them and has stopped puking up on the carpet! Hoorah for special anti-fur ball sweeties!

Dont worry its normal, they pick up the fur on their raspy tongues whilst cleaning themselves !!! The same thing happens to cats in the wild and they control their own diet, not us humans !!

brush your cat to help get rid of excess hair, but other than that theres nothing you can do, hacking up hair balls is something cats do, if they didn't do it they could die because hairballs would get stuck in the stomach.

Get him the hairball remedy cat food in the grocery store. Or they make stuff that you can wipe on their paws and they lick it off, and it prevents and treats hairballs temporarily.
