Tampons are bad to begin with, the means by which they are used and in the case of commercial tampons the chemicals and materials used means they are very bad for vaginal health to begin with.

Commercial tampons are not made from cotton, they also contain chemicals - had to be said given some of the answers.

Tampons do not have ingredients that would go bad, there are regulations but not regarding how long they are 'good' for which is a little unusual given that they go into your body.

As tampons are not sterile nor can they be sterilised it is generally advised not to use them if they have been sitting around for a few years because the packaging can allow substances into the tampon, but other than that it is not something that is to be concerned about.

They wont go bad.
I would not reccomend using some from YEARS ago
But I tink all women now buy the multipacks that are cheaper
and always have some left over.
One box usually lasts 2-3 months for me.
If you are in doubt, call the number on the box.

No they won't go bad, unless you leave them in a humid place where they might get damp and moldy, but the plastic wrap on each should protect them.

Be careful to get non-bleached tampons and don't leave them in too long - toxic shock syndrome is really scary and you don't want to take chances with it!

I don't think so. If they do I'm sure it takes much longer than a month for them to go bad.

not without a lot of moisture. Or if they fall out of the applicator.
That said, I wouldn't use one if the wrapper was torn, it could be dirty.
But if the package was sealed, they should be fine.

No, dear, they don't... Just keep the box closed, or individually sealed so they won't get dust or anything.
AND...
Just ignore people that get mad 'cause of your question... there's no better way of knowing things than asking!! :)
