I was there last Friday night. It was nice to see Manhattan at night, Emp. St. Bldg. is pretty at night, but I think I'd like during the day better. That way you can see more detail of the city. We went about 7:00pm and there was almost no one there. Went to Emp. St. Bldg. at 3:00pm Saturday and there was a two hour wait.

Go right at twilight and watch the change to darkness. Better yet, rent a helicopter.
