Because we believe the Bible is not the original word of God. We believe its been tampered with and edited by the pen of man.

OTHERWISE, We love Jesus and he is an extremely respected Prophet in Islam. Its just sad that his followers had to change his words. I mean, there are tons of different "versions" of the bible today, some which are "banned" some which are "officially okay". Doesn't that seem strange to you?

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) brought the FINAL commandments. Thats why many of Muslim teachings CONFIRM Christian teachings and then there are many things that go further.
