how do you cope?

i am having surgery the 31st and my loving mother in law is coming to HELP she is driving 10 hours to be here but the thing is she is sooooo dramatic! she still wants to tuck you in bed kind of thing and i kow she is just going to be crazy when i cant walk for a little while and be yelling at people get out of her way . how would you cope ? just an example of her drama my husband got backed end into in a parking lot it did nothing to his truck but damaged the other cars back light well she got out of the truck yelling and screaming andcrying and my husband literally told her to HUSH just so he could here the other dude so as i said how do i cope and i cant tell her not to come because it would just be that more dramatic

i would just explain how you feel to your husband and see if he is comfortable talking to her..Good luck

let her be a mother and care for you. how often do you see her any ways. i mean if she lives 10 hrs away im sure you dont see her very much and she doesnt see you either. just go with it

Well, if you're having surgery, odds are they'll give you painkillers of some kind...that should help.
