it already at the bar (the sugar, salt, lemon, lime) or do they serve it to you? does it look bad for a lady to do these?? (lady meaning 22 years old)

With your tequila you will get a slice of lime and a shaker of salt. A good bartender will automatically give these items to you when you order the shot....at least I would
In my bar we rim the shot glass with sugar for the lemon drop and a slice of lemon will be on the side.
Some bartenders will just put the sugar on the slice of lemon as well.
Enjoy! They both can be shot very lady like! The ladylike way to shoot tequila is to lick the area (on top) between your thumb and index finger...or even the wrist.... just dont do it off the arm...
PS... Lemon Drops are very good!
Also.... you can ask for a slice of orange coated in sugar to go with the tequila shot..... it is really good that way as well! We sell more of these to ladies then lemon drops. HTH

I believe that tequila shots you should get the lime and salt with it. I have never heard of a lemon drop shot but i would assume that it comes with whatever you are suppose to shoot with it. If it doesn't, just ask!!! Heck no it doesn't look bad for a lady to do these, if anything men like it cuz they think they might get lucky. LOL! Good luck and have a good time!

Tequila shots should come with a lime on a toothpick on the side and you are on your own with the salt unless you request salt, then a little goes on one side of the rim. As far as lemon drops go... A sugared rim is a must! Garnished with a sugar covered lemon slice that sits on the edge of your shot or martini glass. It also depends on what type of bar you go to.

I have been to bar's where (for lemon drop) they give you the vodka shot and a slice of lemon sprinkled with sugar (although I prefer salt). I've also been to bar's where they just mix vodka with some kind of citrus liquor, or give you citron limon (not the correct way). Tequila shots usually come alone, but alot of people request a lime wedge or lemon wedge with it. And no, it does not look bad for a lady to do these shots, they are actually more feminine drinks, although I know alot of men who do them too. Actually, i've never heard of a shot that wasn't "ladylike".

I do it all the time.. the lemon drop will probably have sugar on the rim.. but the for the tequila you can ask for salt and lime.

The traditional way is to have it with your friends on table or at bar. You lick your forearm, crush some lemon from a wedge and sprinkle salt on it and then lick the salt and lemon from your forearm just before drinking shot of tequila.
Nothing special for lady to do it here in Europe.

i love lemon drop shots. everytime i've ordered one i was always given the sugar and lemon on the side. it doesn't look bad for a lady of any age to do them - unless of course she has done too many and acts like a fool.

It depends on the bar. If you are unsure then just order one and ask for a lime with it, it won't cost you anything but be sure to tip your bartender!
