I'd be a foo bird.

Are you familiar with the story?

Well, it seems that a devout missionary was ministering to a backward tribe of aborigines, and he was astounded at the reverence they had for a large, ill-mannered bird that they called a "foo" bird. These creatures would dive out of the sky and defecate on the heads of the people, and the people would not wash the guano off, because they feared that they would die if they did. Nothing the missionary said had any effect on their superstitious belief.

One day a foo bird defecated on the missionary's head, and he was delighted for the opportunity to demonstrate the error of the people's belief. As they watched in horror, he walked down to the river and vigorously scrubbed the foo guano from his scalp. Then he turned to face the people with a huge smile on his face. And he promptly fell on his face, dead as a doornail.

There's a moral to this story:

If the foo shits, wear it!

That's a hard one because I would be a macaw or an eagle.

A macaw has such beautiful colors and an eagle is the king of the birds. I have seen one up close and personal and they are so much bigger than expected. The fact that an eagle's wing span is longer than I am tall is fascinating. The eyesight of an eagle is also tremendous.

A Red Kite, they live in beautiful places and glide without effort on the thermals - they are very elegant birds of prey.

Hubby says he'd be a penguin cos he could get into posh dinner parties without having to buy a tuxedo. Only prob is once you're in you'd have to stay there cos you wouldn't be able to get out of the wrapper.

Daughter (19) says penguin cos they're evil but graceful and cute

Hummingbird. They get well fed from feeders, delicate but hardy, can fly straight up or down and can migrate about 5,000 miles on its own without being in a flock!! What an amazing little creature.
