Get a long plastic bag (Paper-boys deliver the newspaper in this kind of bag) put it over your arms, and put a rubber band around to keep it from sliding around.

Or you can buy over-sized dish-washing gloves. Depends on how long your cast is.

Good luck with healing your arm, hope it's not broken too bad =)

Waterproof Sleeve For Cast

You can wrap it in plastic, like a trash bag and tape it until your bath is over. I would suggest a bath, you don't want to get your cast wet for a number of reason. First it will dissolve it, if enough moisture gets to it. Secondly, it would have to be reapplied, causing you more pain and misery. Try taking a bath and protecting the cast with some sort of plastic, be sure and remove the plastic as soon as your finished bathing. Hope this helps

when my son broke both of his arms, we used Glad Force Flex Trash bags as sleeves and hair bands to secure them. the bags are stronger and also have an elastic quality. You just have to use enough rubber bands to make a seal. We had about 3 rows of them above the end of the cast so that if the 1 one leaked it would also have to pass 2 more to actually wet the cast. He never got wet!

My family always used the plastic bags that the dry cleaners use to cover your clothes when you pick them up. If you don't go to the dry cleaners, I'll bet you could stop into one and ask for a couple bags.

We used rubber bands or elastic from the fabric store to tie the ends off.

Use a plastic bag... a newspaper delivery bag would be perfect.. blow it up to insure that there no holes or leaks. Then secure it with waterproof medical tape.
