A farmer has a chicken, a bag of rice and a fox. He needs to take them across a river, but he can only take one at a time over and back...the problem is if he was to take the rice 1st he would come back and see that the fox had eating the chicken. If he took the fox over 1st he would also come back to find that the chicken had ate the rice. Therefore how does the farmer take all 3 across without having any of them missing? (p.s. farmer cant take no more than ONE item with him on each occasion)

take the fox first, then the rice, then the chicken.cause the fox doesn't eat rice, so he goes first. then the rice, and then the rotten rice eating chicken lasts so you will be there to stop the bloody fox eating the chicken and the chicken eating the rice, which was what was happening on the other side of the river.

take the chicken over, then go back 4 the rice. wen the rice is taken over, take the chicken back, then swap the chicken and the fox. take the fox over to the rice then go get the chicken.

go back and pickup the rice and take it across and pick up the chicken
pick up the fox, leave the chicken and go across
go back and get the chicken
