Breastfeeding mothers, and non-breastfeeding mothers, I'm just wondering when your periods became regular after delivery, and how long. Any advice will help!

#1 bled for 1 week postpartum.
Got my first period at six months and
it was very heavy. all other periods light after that, but didn’t become regular until he was 12 months . nursed for 14 months.
#2 bled for 3 weeks postpartum.
No period yet, she’s 4 month old and nursing.

I bled for a couple of weeks after giving birth, then one month late my period started. I had thought that because I was breastfeeding full time I would have a break from my periods, but no such luck!
I was still breastfeeding my youngest, when I feel pregnant a third time, while on the mini pill. Turned out to be an ectopic pregnancy though.

Exclusively breastfed until adding solids at 6 months, then continued breastfeeding well beyond a year with all three children.
#1 - period returned at 10 mos PP
#2 - period returned at 9.5 mos PP
#3 - period returned around 16 mos PP

After birth I bleed just about 3 weeks , Than i had a 4 week break .. so .. i guess like 7-8 weeks later !

I was strictly nursing...I didn't start to get my period back until 7 months later because I was atarting to wean my son. It took till about 12-14 months to return to a normal cycle.

mine didnt come back until after i stopped breastfeeding for a month or so. I breast fed for about 4 months !

About 14 months with my first and 11 months with my second.

gave birth 7/07 of this year... breastfeeding. So far, no cycle yet. I'll be sad when it comes back lol

bled for 3 weeks and quit and got my first period the morning of my 6 week check up
